## DescriptionJob Title: Support Associate | Sales Leadership Fast-TrackLocation: Morena Blvd, San DiegoStarting Pay: $17.75/hrPosition Type: Part-Time (Entry-Level with Promotion Path)The Opportunity: Support the Floor, Then Lead ItAre you looking for a path into just about moving boxes. This role is different. At Lamps Plus, we use our Support Associate position as a leadership pipeline.We are looking for a motivated individual to master our operations, learn the technical side of the lighting industry, and transition into a Commissioned Sales Leader role where your income is determined by your performance, not just the clock.The Career PathPhase 1 (Operational Mastery): You will start by learning the product from the inside out. You’ll handle inventory, assemble high-end fixtures, and ensure the showroom reflects our premier brand standards.Phase 2 (Skill Development): As you master the logistics, you will begin shadowing our top Sales Leaders to learn lighting design, client management, and professional closing techniques.The Goal (Promotion): Our objective is to move you from an hourly Support Associate to a Commissioned Sales Leader, where you will manage your own book of business and earn significant performance-based incentives.Key ResponsibilitiesTo succeed, you must execute with Clarity, Consistency, and Timeliness:Inventory Control: Receive and process high-end merchandise with 100% accuracy.Technical Setup: Assemble and display luxury lighting fixtures, learning the specs and technology behind every piece.Showroom Excellence: Maintain a pristine, professional environment and provide "White Glove" carry-out service for our clients.Team Collaboration: Act as the backbone of the sales floor, ensuring our Sales Leaders have the product and support they need to win.Who You AreCareer-Oriented: You aren't looking for a "job"; you are looking for a professional trade you can master.Detail-Focused: You catch the small errors that others miss.
