Residential Counselor 2nd Shift

We’re hiring a 2nd Shift Children's Residential Counselor on a full‑time, part‑time, or per diem basis. With flexible scheduling, you can work the best hours for your needs while still making a critical impact on our organization! Compensation & Training We are pleased to offer you a sign‑on bonus of up to $2,650. Your sign‑on bonus will be paid in two increments. Bonuses are prorated for regular scheduled shifts of less than 40 hours. A mandatory 6 days of training is required with a schedule of Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm plus the following Monday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. You earn $18.50 – $21.50 per hour depending on experience and education. Shift differentials are also available (Second shift Monday – Friday: $2.00 per hour; all weekend shifts: $3.00 per hour). The shift runs from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm and includes every other weekend as part of the bi‑weekly schedule. Responsibilities As a 2nd Shift Children's Residential Counselor, you will engage with our young students and help them develop valuable life skills. Working with an empathetic and respectful attitude, you will support students in cooking, household chores, personal hygiene, and fostering friendships. You will promote healthy life choices, model appropriate behaviors, and encourage independence whenever possible. You serve as a role model and mentor, helping students lead fulfilling, happy lives. Qualifications Minimum age 18 years old Valid driver’s license Ability to remain awake during overnight shifts to ensure safety and well‑being of students Willingness to work holidays and weekend shifts as needed Competence in performing activities of daily living Ability to perform physical interventions as necessary to maintain a safe environment Experience is not required, but caregiving knowledge is preferred High school diploma or equivalent is a bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr Crystal Springs, Inc
