The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining various machines, including automated, manual, and CNC machines, to ensure efficient and safe production on a single shift schedule. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues to maintain continuous workflow.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines according to production specifications and requirements
- Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent performance and quality
- Follow safety compliance standards to maintain a safe work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions promptly
- Maintain accurate records of machine activity, maintenance, and production output
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in machine operation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automated, manual, and CNC machines
- Strong understanding of safety compliance protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues
- Attention to detail and effective time management skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and communication abilities
