Sales Manager

This is a working supervisory position, working to generate sales opportunities and meet sales goals. Primary duties would include surveying commercial, municipal and residential properties, handling client proposal requests, and performing site inspections to identify and determine necessary arboricultural recommendations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Track all sales of all sales people
• Track the zipcodes and clients sales
• Manage the proposals and track the time at jobs
• Track the time from message to accepted proposal
• Track declined proposal and percentages
• Compare estimated with actual on jobs
• Tracking profitability or jobs
• Tracking sales people services
• Setting daily weekly monthly annual sales goals
• Tacking sales goals and awarding commission
• Holding weekly sales meetings
• Tracking profitability
• Setting and tracking size and clients in sales territories
• Tacking profitability by zip-codes
• Tracking client profiles
• Training of sales force
• Hiring of new sales people

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License,
• 3-5 year's Plant Health Care experience (arboriculture, entomology, retail or wholesale nursery, landscape design, and forestry) with field supervisory and/or team building responsibilities
• 5-10 years of Management experience
• Insect and disease management of plants, trees or turf
• Excellent tree and shrub identification and Diagnostic abilities

Qualifications (cont)

• Ability to work on variety of trucks, pumps, injections systems, and other equipment
• ISA Certified Arborist License (required within first year of employment)
• MO Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License (required within 6 months)

Physical And Office Demands

Must be able to work and maneuver under various and at times adverse weather conditions.

Read, write, and complete forms and paperwork while performing the duties of this job, which includes proficiency in

Microsoft office. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach,

stretch, manipulate fingers and hands, speak, listen, and lift and move weight in excess of 75 lbs.
