Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Devens, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate records in accordance with site‑specific procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security‑related issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
