Looking for data modelers, and not application leads having knowledge on data modeling. Data Lake is a strategic multi-year program, and this role is critical to ensure data is ingested appropriately, and contributing towards the data lineage, and governance. Need data modelers who have had experience in multiple projects and domains in the Data space.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWorks directly with internal data SMEs (business or technology) to model data from source to target.Ability to design and maintain the logical and physical data models for:Dimensional Data model (star schema)Relational data model - Third normal formData VaultDrive and document modeling and model review sessions. Make model adjustments based on feedback.Ability to communicate the data models to technical and non-Technical audience.Maintain a data dictionaryAttends scrum and other internal meetingsTechnology Skill Set:Experience in using one or more data modelling tools.Data analysis skills. Understanding of data transformation and processingUnderstand data modeling concepts including normalization, star schema, data vault modelingUnderstanding of RDBMS and non-RDBMS technology
