What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate staff and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, and document visitor, staff, and vehicle activity in accordance with post orders and location requirements.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and assist with security-related investigations, escorts, and coordinated response efforts as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
