Job Description:

The Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care is responsible for delivering specialized healthcare to patients with various wound types, including diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient care, utilizing advanced wound care techniques and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general wound care and manage complex wound cases.
• Utilize Wound Vacs and perform nurse-level debridement.
• Conduct Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) assessments and cast cutting.

Requirements:

• BLS certification and wound care certification required.
• Ostomy certification (CWOCN) preferred for specific roles.
• Completion of a state-approved nursing education program and active South Dakota RN licensure.
• Experience with EPIC charting system or willingness to undergo training.
