License: Not specified Certifications: ASCP Medical Technologist or MLS certification required. Must-Have: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology. Description: We are seeking a Medical Technologist to join our team of dedicated and knowledgeable laboratorians. The role involves performing routine to complex lab testing. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The position may require teaching and training responsibilities as needed. You will be expected to perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution. Weekends will include shifts of 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Travelers must comply with floating requirements as needed. This position does require proof of education verification. Flu vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical or religious reasons. Candidates must have experience with a variety of laboratory skills and tests. The daily census includes caring for a diverse patient age group from neonates to geriatrics. This opportunity involves working in a full clinical laboratory environment with advanced support.
