In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you! Responsibilities Weigh and measure ingredients Mix and blend batters Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products. Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods Prepare and maintain inventory Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment Qualifications Attention to detail in all aspects of baking Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal Experience as a Baker a plus Duties and Responsibilities Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas Bake a variety of breads, cakes, and pastries Decorate cakes Prepare custom orders Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary Qualifications Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment Knowledge of food safety practicesli> Previous experience decorating cakes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Team player Available for early morning shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
