Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

The RN Supervisor oversees patient care and services, ensuring quality through collaboration, monitoring, and evaluation aligned with patient needs. They work closely with patients and families, adhering to all legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. Qualifications Include An accredited associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing. Active RN license in the applicable state. At least two years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care. CPR certification, maintained current throughout employment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage patient care to promote optimal well-being. Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans. Supervise licensed staff and CNAs, prioritizing care needs and reporting. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive relationships with staff and vendors. Provide excellent customer service and support patient safety and rights. Participate in emergency procedures and interdisciplinary team communication. Skills And Qualities Required Expert knowledge of nursing practices and post-acute care regulations. Ability to make independent decisions when needed. Strong judgment, reasoning, and communication skills. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and adherence to organizational conduct codes.
