Travel Physical Therapist Assistant - SNF/LTC - $1,398 per week

Job Description & Requirements Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. The position starts on 06/29/2026 and lasts 13 weeks , with a 40-hour work week and 8-hour day shifts . The role is travel based. Responsibilities The Physical Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of either a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical treatment procedures, including massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, and other assigned exercises, to improve mobility and relieve pain and disability caused by disease or injury. Qualifications Must have earned an Associate’s degree from an accredited school. Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or be actively in the process of obtaining licensure. Current CPR certification. Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist. Implement and modify the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist. Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PT.
