In our classrooms and across the KIPP family we embrace, honor, and celebrate our differences. Responsibilities Manage the school attendance process and maintain attendance records. Partner with students, staff, and parents to ensure daily attendance. Train teachers on attendance procedures and input data into the Student Information System (SIS). Document attendance changes, correct attendance data, and complete audits as needed. Communicate attendance reporting to staff and indicate when a student is at risk. Participate in the weekly attendance check‑in meetings, taking on increasing responsibilities over time. Maintain accurate student data and information in compliance with federal, state, and school expectations. Audit and correct student data issues in the SIS and complete Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) reporting. Generate and review reports and verify them with appropriate stakeholders. Manage incoming and outgoing requests for student records through TREx. Enter and update master and student schedules in SIS. Review and determine eligibility for programs and ensure correct documentation in systems. Run grade verification reports for each grading cycle and print progress reports and report cards. Process documentation for student enrollment and maintain all lottery records. Verify students are fully enrolled and correct data in registration packets and the SIS. Collect required documents for student enrollment. Set up, manage, and audit student folders. Accept transfer requests from families and coordinate processes with other schools. Handle external student document requests. Track leaver information and ensure withdrawal meetings are held. Prepare transcripts and provide proof of enrollment. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Strong project and time‑management skills; ability to plan backwards, juggle multiple priorities, and deliver consistent results. Experience managing and entering data. Sense of humility, customer‑service mindset, urgency, and ability to solve problems quickly. Ability to establish relationships and communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and administrators. Physical requirements: ability to move around inside and outside the school, attend conferences, meetings, and training sessions both virtually and in person within the region. Reliable transportation for travel between campuses. Ability to maintain emotional control under stress and work with frequent interruptions.
