Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in students’ lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Two full-time positions are available: one serving a dedicated middle school caseload, and the other supporting two elementary sites, both within a supportive educational setting near Sonoma, CA.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and an enthusiasm for helping students achieve their communication goals. Collaborate within a passionate multidisciplinary team and enjoy the vibrancy of school-based work.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with middle school or elementary populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Strong commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students per IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write comprehensive reports
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, participate in meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families
- Consult with classroom staff on strategies for communication support
- Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Foster a positive, engaging learning environment that helps each student thrive
