Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Laundry Staff to join our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to enhance the lives of our residents. You will work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring that all laundry operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Your role is essential in maintaining a comfortable and hygienic environment, which allows our staff to focus on providing exceptional care. 

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing

• Maintained cleanliness and organization of laundry area

• Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently

• Inspect items for damage or stains and handle them appropriately

• Follow proper infection control procedures during laundry operations

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff about laundry needs and issues

• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred

• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks

• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and products
