The GAF Baltimore site has been operating for over 50 years, focusing on manufacturing residential shingles for the Mid-Atlantic region. If you are looking for competitive wages and opportunities for continuous growth, come join our team!### **Job Summary**The GAF Baltimore Plant is seeking a **Production Machine Operator** to assist on the production line where needed. Duties include, but are not limited to, machine operation, quality verification, packaging, general housekeeping, and forklift operation.* **Schedule:** 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).**Essential Duties*** Safely operate processing machinery and equipment required to manufacture shingle products.* Perform equipment safety checks, shutdown, cleanup, and startup procedures.* Conduct regular quality verification, packaging tasks, and material handling.* Maintain workplace cleanliness and complete routine housekeeping.* Safely operate a forklift as required by production needs.### **Qualifications Required*** High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.* Demonstrated strong commitment to Safety and Quality.* Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience in a high-speed process environment.* Willingness and availability to work 7 days a week on a rotating shift schedule.### **Physical Demands*** Constantly: Reaching, Handling* Frequently: Stationary Position, Move/Traverse, Transport/Lifting, Transport/Carrying, Exerting Force (Push/Pull), Ascend/Descend, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Grasping, Hearing, Repetitive Motions, Coordination* Occasionally: Stationary Position (Seated), Balancing, Talking* Rarely: Feeling### ### **Working Conditions*** **Frequently:** Extreme Cold, Extreme Heat, Humidity, Wet Conditions, Noise, Workplace Hazards, Temperature Changes, VibrationBase salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
