Dental Hygienist

Overview We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our Patients feel like family. You will screen Patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least two years of experience. Responsibilities Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss treatment care plan with patients and answer any questions they have Prep sterilized equipment and set-up and break down treatment room Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection Remove plaque and calculus and apply fluoride treatments Teach good oral hygiene techniques Take accurate Intra-oral scans with scanner Take x-rays Assist dentist during exams Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor\'s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation Current Florida Dental Hygienist licensure At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene preferred Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines Excellent communication and customer service skills Benefits/Perks Career Fulfillment Monthly Bonuses Paid Time Off Paid Vacation Days Free Dental Care Flexible Scheduling 401 k with Matching Profit sharing Uniforms supplied Competitive Compensation #J-18808-Ljbffr Blue Water Dental of St Johns
