And with continuing education and advancement opportunities at every turn, you can build a long, successful career with Mayo Clinic.ResponsibilitiesTo perform specialized respiratory therapy services as directed by provider orders and in accordance with protocols, policies, and procedures established by the hospital.QualificationsSuccessful completion of a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) approved Respiratory Therapy program.Additional Qualifications:Previous hospital experience preferred.Should be familiar with The Joint Commission standards and requirements.Understanding of computers.Good verbal and written communication skills required.Should be familiar with risks associated with exposure to infectious patients, needle puncture hazards, and hazards related to compressed gases.License/Certifications:National Board for Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required upon hire or by the end of one year of employment and must be maintained throughout duration of employment.Required to have Florida Respiratory license prior to their first day of employment.Respiratory Therapists are required to maintain Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support or the equivalent as determined by the site of hire.Exemption Status Nonexempt Compensation Detail Experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. $32.43 - $48.66 / hour Benefits Eligible Yes Schedule Full Time Hours/Pay Period 72 Schedule Details Nights; 7p-7a Weekend Schedule Every other weekend.
