The 12‑week program includes on‑the‑job training, professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and networking events. How You Will Help Us Connect the World As a Materials Engineering Intern you will support Research and Development in the Cable and Connectivity Solutions business. You will work with senior Materials Engineering staff to develop test methods used for evaluating a wide range of fiber‑optic products and their materials of construction. Responsibilities Execute planned experimentation diligently. Record, analyze, and report data to enable clear conclusions. Contribute new ideas and improvement opportunities in materials technology and testing methods. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. Required Qualifications Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering from an accredited university. Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Basic lab and chemical safety awareness. Unrestricted work authorization; no future sponsorship required. Innovative thinking and proposal of new ideas. Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Strategic and creative thinking; excellent written and verbal communication.
