Job Title: General Production Associate
Job Overview

This role supports hands-on assembly and production work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will use hand and power tools, follow work instructions, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards while maintaining an organized work area.
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to work instructions and specifications
• Operate hand and power tools such as sanders, nail guns, clamps, and presses
• Read tape measures and follow work orders using basic computer systems
• Perform inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
• Assist with packaging, material handling, and staging for production
• Support machine operation and maintain a clean, safe work area

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform assembly and general production work
• Basic measuring and math skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production setting
• Basic computer skills for production-related tasks
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or carpentry
• Experience working with machines or production equipment
• Familiarity with reading basic drawings or work instructions
• Experience with material handling or forklift operation
• Willingness to learn new tasks and cross-train

Work Environment

• First-shift schedule with consistent hours
• Manufacturing floor setting with standing, lifting, and tool use
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and production materials
• Safety-focused environment with required PPE

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northwood, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
