Lead Salesforce Developer

Job Description

A rapidly growing fiber network provider is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to help bring critical Salesforce capabilities in-house and play a key role in building a modern, scalable platform. This individual will partner closely with a Salesforce Architect and engineering team to design and develop complex solutions within Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity).

This role is ideal for a hands-on senior/lead developer who thrives in high-growth environments, takes ownership, and can adapt communication style across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

Act as a lead, hands-on Salesforce developer, contributing directly to design and development

Build and scale solutions within Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity), including complex product configurations

Develop using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Omniscripts

Design and implement product models, order decomposition, and provisioning workflows

Partner with architecture and business teams to translate evolving requirements into scalable solutions

Collaborate with internal engineers to bring development capabilities in-house from an external implementation partner

Own code quality, testing, and platform stability across the development lifecycle

Contribute to technical documentation and mentor junior developers as the team grows

6-month contract with extension or conversion potential

Pay: $60-75/hr

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong tenure in enterprise environments

Deep experience with:

• Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity) ? required / high priority

• Complex product modeling and configuration

• Order decomposition and provisioning workflows

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Apex

• Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• Omniscript / OmniStudio

Proven ability to build and manage complex, scalable Salesforce solutions

Experience working alongside or transitioning work from implementation partners

Leadership & Soft Skills

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities

Background in telecom or fiber network organizations

Exposure to standing up or scaling internal Salesforce engineering teams
