Aprio is partnering with one of the fastest-growing professional service firms in the country to find a Senior Tax Associate ready to take on complex work, mentor junior staff, and grow into a leadership role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns — 1040s, 1065s, 1120-S, 1120s, and 1041s
• Conduct tax research and summarize findings to support compliance and planning decisions
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and communicate ideas to managers and clients
• Handle client correspondence including notices and general tax questions
• Support year-round tax planning including entity selection, restructuring, and multi-state issues
• Mentor and review work prepared by junior Tax Associates

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation for individuals and closely held entities
• CPA certified or actively pursuing (preferred)
• Experience with tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communicator with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Must be located within one hour of Waukesha, WI
