Pay: $2,276.64 per week


Shifts: Nights, 6:00PM-6:00AM & 7:00PM-7:00AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. The role focuses on providing comprehensive pulmonary care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across critical and non-critical environments, including floating between Lake Charles and St Patrick facilities. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Perform emergency (Code Blue and White) responses
  • Manage airway, including nasotracheal & endotracheal suctioning
  • Deliver aerosolized drugs
  • Set up and manage ventilators
  • Provide oral hygiene and manage airway support devices
  • Administer oxygen and therapeutic monitoring
  • Conduct chest film analysis and blood gas collection
  • Perform EKG analysis and documentation
  • Keep equipment and supplies clean and stocked
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys
  • Potentially function as Shift Leader or Team Leader
  • Advanced practice skills including hemodynamic monitoring and assist bronchoscopy
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • RT or RCP License in state of employment
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required via AHA
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
  • Must have adult ICU experience
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
