Quality Assurance Specialist 14 days ago Requisition ID: 1055 Salary Range: $27.00 To $35.00 Hourly POSITION TITLE: Quality Assurance Specialist Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Specialist supports Alinabal’s quality initiatives by performing inspections, documenting results, and helping ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements. This role works closely with production, engineering, and supply chain to identify quality concerns and support continuous improvement efforts across materials, processes, and finished goods. Responsibilities: Document findings clearly and accurately; Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions under the guidance of the Quality Manager or Director. Maintain quality records and follow established procedures in accordance with quality system requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product flow and promote quality throughout production. Assist in supplier quality checks and help monitor vendor conformance when needed. Help prepare for internal and external audits and support follow-up activities. FAI reviews and approval DQR activities for customers Owner of FAI metric and SME Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality. Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or associate degree preferred. 1–3 years of experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing support role. Basic understanding of inspection tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges). Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 systems a plus. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation. Effective communicator and team player with a willingness to learn. Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office or quality systems preferred. Other Details: Work Environment: Manufacturing floor with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move about the production area for extended periods. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance. Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required for operating inspection tools and reading detailed specifications. Schedule: Full-time; Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work based on production or audit needs. Travel: Occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations may be required.
