Radiology Technician

Role Overview The Radiology Tech performs general radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment of various conditions. They prepare patients and equipment, providing clear instructions with professionalism and excellent customer service. The role involves independently conducting imaging examinations, including portable and on-call procedures, as assigned by the department. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring clear communication and high-quality care. Perform radiographic imaging independently, handling portable exams and on‑call situations if applicable. Qualifications & Skills Educational requirement: Associate degree or trade school completion. Licenses & Certifications: Radiology Technologist registration; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI); CPR certification preferred.
