Regional Business ManagerFreedom Source, a subsidiary of Suffolk, is seeking a Regional Business Manager to lead the growth, performance, and execution of Freedom Source services across a defined region. This role serves as a strategic partner to Operations, Preconstruction, and Project Teams, driving value through disciplined supply chain execution, vendor strategy, and operational alignment.The Regional Business Manager is accountable for regional performance, including service adoption, financial outcomes, and project delivery. This role ensures alignment between Freedom Source strategies and business objectives, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and support scalable growth across the portfolio.In close partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors, this role proactively manages capacity, resolves issues, and drives execution against key project milestones. Through these efforts, the Regional Business Manager plays a critical role in advancing Freedom Source's supply chain strategy and enabling consistent, high-quality delivery across Suffolk's projects.ResponsibilitiesRegional Leadership & Performance Lead regional operations for Freedom Source, ensuring alignment with Suffolk's business objectives, performance expectations, and operational standardsDrive adoption and execution of Freedom Source services across multiple projects within the regionBusiness Development & Growth Partner with Executive leadership, Operations, and Preconstruction to develop and execute regional business strategiesSupport pursuits, proposals, and client engagement efforts to position Freedom Source as a value driverIdentify market trends, vendor capabilities, and growth opportunities to expand regional impactProject Execution & Coordination Oversee delivery of Freedom Source services from buyout through delivery and installation, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectationsCollaborate with project teams on product selection, supplier coordination, and pricing transparencyProvide supply chain expertise throughout the project lifecycle to optimize outcomesVendor & Client Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and clientsEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and delivery executionServe as an escalation point for vendor performance, capacity constraints, and project risksFinancial Management & Accountability Own regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlMonitor financial metrics and implement strategies to optimize profitability and mitigate riskSupport project-level financial oversight, including alignment with budgets and contract requirementsTeam Leadership & Development Recruit, lead, and develop regional team members, fostering a high-performing and accountable cultureProvide coaching, performance feedback, and career development supportAlign team structure and resources to meet regional business needsStrategic Alignment & Continuous Improvement Partner with senior leadership to align regional operations with Freedom Source and Suffolk's broader strategyDrive consistency in processes, tools, and execution across projectsIdentify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall service deliveryRisk Management & Operational Excellence Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and supply chain risksEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligationsEstablish and monitor performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field required, Master's degree preferred10+ years of experience in commercial construction, procurement, supply chain, or operations, with strong knowledge of regional market dynamicsProven ability to lead complex projects and drive operational and financial performance in a fast-paced, evolving environmentDemonstrated experience partnering with construction operations and project teams, with a strong understanding of project delivery, including estimating, scheduling, procurement, contract management, and cost controlDeep understanding of construction supply chain and procurement best practices, including materials, equipment, and servicesExperience establishing, scaling, or optimizing procurement or supply chain functions, ideally within a high-growth or evolving business environmentAdvanced expertise in vendor management, strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract administration, with a focus on long-term value creation and partnership developmentWorking knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and field execution is strongly preferredStrong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret data, manage budgets, and drive informed decision-makingExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a data-driven and solution-oriented approachDemonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels, including senior leadership and external partnersLeadership experience with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teamsExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiencesEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, drive innovation, and operate effectively in a dynamic environmentHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical business practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems, with strong reporting and analytical capabilitiesAbility and willingness to travel regionally as requiredWorking ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time;
