Product Demonstrator

Job Summary The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. The Associate acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepts consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner. The Associate maintains a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. Responsibilities Proactively intercepts, engages, and sells products to consumers in a positive manner. Communicates features and benefits of products effectively. Prepares and serves food samples using microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives. Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Properly sets up and prepares event tables for execution. Achieves 100% execution on assigned work. Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections. Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Completes expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepares and submits online requirements on the same day as event execution. Accesses the internet and uses Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications Education / Experience High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device, navigating applications and internal systems. Certificates / Licenses / Registrations Local food handler permit may be required. Physical Demands The associate will stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle items, reach with arms, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb stairs, balance, lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), move a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages with required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Work Environment Retail store environment; limited travel. Physical Appearance Professional appearance and proper grooming must be maintained. Specific retailer dress‑code requirements are included in training documents. Language Skills English primary; bilingual may be required based on business necessity.
