Certified Nurse Midwife - Casual/Call

We're growing! We've expanded our labor and delivery unit, and now we are looking to further expand our midwifery services. Northfield Hospital + Clinics is looking to add a casual/call, full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife to the practice. This community hospital currently does just over 700 births a year, and this number is continuing to rise. Our newly remodeled unit includes a large tub for waterbirth, labor slings, a birth chair, and nitrous oxide. If needed, we also offer family-centered c-sections in an OB dedicated OR.


Job Summary

The Certified Nurse Midwife is responsible for care of patients, including assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status, which may include prenatal care, post-partum care, guidance for menopause, wellness and preventative care, treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, family planning reproductive health. The Certified Nurse Midwife will be responsible for maintaining accurate and current patient records, scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required and work as a team with other care providers to ensure delivery of premium care to each and every patient.

Compensation

We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $54.03-$76.27. This range reflects the base salary for this position.

Qualifications

• Certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives
• Minimum of 1 year Midwife experience preferred.
• NRP and BLS Certification, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of start date, company paid

Schedule

• 24-Hour call, 8:00am - 4:30pm Clinic
• Weekends as needed
