Operations Management Analyst II

Operations Management Analyst II – Cox Automotive, USA. Responsibilities Provide data-driven analysis and operational support, leveraging SQL, database management, and data modeling to inform business decisions. Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, design, and implement operational improvements using analytical solutions. Develop and maintain data structures, reporting frameworks, and foundational assets such as a Data Dictionary and Query Repository. Collect and analyze data to identify root causes, track KPIs, and deliver performance reports and insights. Write and optimize SQL queries to support product data analysis and stakeholder use cases. Support development and maintenance of data models using dbt and SQL-based transformations. Conduct business diagnostics, quantify, and prioritize gaps and opportunities; recommend and implement solutions. Analyze portfolio performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to support pricing, cost management, and margin enhancement decisions. Deliver recommendations to process owners and stakeholders through presentations and business cases. Engage with Operations Management, business owners, and stakeholders to execute improvement plans, support new product launches, and expand partner auction network. Drive adoption of data and analytics tools, automation, and AI-enabled technologies to improve operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and at least 2 years of experience in data analytics and operations support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong experience writing and optimizing SQL queries. Proven data analytics experience; Python skills are a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Desire to continually learn and grow analytical skillset. Apply analytical techniques to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and arrive at data-driven conclusions. Drug Testing Applicants must clear a pre-employment drug test.
