Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, order diagnostic tests, and create tailored care plans for patients
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians, as credentialing permits
• Provide education to patients and families on wellness, preventive care, and chronic disease management
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your licensure parameters
• Engage in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic care management strategies
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is required
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or its specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire
