Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Position Overview Seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, ensure high‑quality imaging, maintain patient safety and comfort, and support physicians with accurate diagnostic information. Key Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations and adjust equipment to capture optimal imaging. Use independent judgment to identify normal and abnormal findings. Ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and address questions. Maintain accurate records and update electronic health systems. Assist with IV insertions for contrast studies when required. Manage scheduling, verify authorizations, and prepare exam rooms. Follow safety, infection‑control, and regulatory standards. Complete additional duties as needed. Qualifications Associate Degree in Applied Science. RDMS or ARRT (US) certification required. BLS certification. 3+ years of sonography experience. RVT a plus (training can be provided). Strong communication, technical, and patient‑care skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
