Join Our Primary Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to become part of our Primary Care team at our clinic located in Stockbridge. Our focus is on fostering a genuine partnership between patients and providers, prioritizing the achievement of health goals.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess at least two years of relevant experience in Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience in managing a patient panel and operating an independent clinic is essential.

Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners play a crucial role in our integrated academic healthcare system. Here are some benefits of joining our team:

• Annual base salary ranging from $102,000 to $128,000, based on your experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating and treating patients.
• Document care delivery in patient medical records.
• Conduct patient interviews and record histories, including psychosocial aspects, health status, and medical issues.
• Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic or therapeutic procedures under physician supervision, such as cast application, wound suturing, and dressing changes.
• Support physicians in diagnosing medical conditions, formulating care plans, and prescribing treatments.

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing, and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or an equivalent organization, or certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Appropriate licensure in the state of Georgia.
• At least one year of direct experience in high-acuity clinical specialties may be required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association is mandatory; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be necessary in certain areas.
