Limited Part-Time Professional Staff Nurse, OP - OB/GYN (2 days/week)

UPMC is hiring a Limited Part-Time Professional Staff Nurse to join their Womancare Associates office in Sewickley, PA! We are a fast-paced outpatient OB/GYN office with 15 providers. This position will be responsible for phone triage, calling patients with results, assisting medical assistants and providers when needed. This is a limited, part-time position that will work 2 days per week. This position will work Monday and Tuesday, 7:45am to 4:15pm. No evenings, weekends, or holidays. Previous Epic and OB/GYN experience is preferred. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the career ladder, based on their individual experience and education. The pay range listed is for a Senior Professional Staff Nurse, OP which requires 2 years of experience, UPMC approved certification, or an MSN. Rating of solid/strong/good or higher on most recent performance evaluation. UPMC approved national certification OR master's degree or higher in Nursing required. The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the ages of the patients served by his/her assigned unit as specified below. They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in practicing state. CPR Certification. UPMC Professional Contribution required CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Registered Nurse (RN) Act 34 Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
