As the Appraiser, you will work with appraisal management companies to perfect property valuations as needed. The Staff Appraiser will:Perform desk review of property valuation products and justify in writing any value conclusions that differ from the valuationProvide guidance to other staff members regarding property valuation strategiesMeet all service levels pertaining to the property valuation strategiesKeep management apprised of any concerns regarding the performance of an appraiser, the appraisal management company or any part of the property valuation processPerform other related duties as required and assignedDemonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and valuesWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of relevant work experienceCurrent certification to perform residential appraisalsPrior field experience performing residential property appraisalsFunctional upstanding of USPAP regulationsWhy You Should Join:As one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
