Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.03 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM Wed 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM Thur 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM Fri 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM Sat 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, families, staff, and/or vendors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned security‑related duties appropriate for a cultural institution location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, gates, and common areas to help support orderly access, visitor direction and compliance with location rules and posted instructions. Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, activities, and/or notable observations, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Possess 1 or more years of security‑related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
