About the Position
Job Title: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Children's Client experience within the last 3 years; NICU/PICU experience required. License: Indiana State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (required for those placed in L&D), PALS (preferred) Must-Have: Must have L&D experience, as primary duties will be in L&D. Description: Before submission, provide written confirmation that the traveler is comfortable and aware of the every other weekend requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend work is required. All travelers must work two out of three paired holidays. Floating requirements include PICU and some Pediatric Acute Care. The home unit of NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics will be assigned once at the facility but can be changed based on the facility's needs. Previous charge experience is not required. Experience charting in Cerner is preferred. Candidates must be open to floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Interdisciplinary support and special procedures will be determined by the unit. Candidates must have experience with aerosol setup, tracheostomy care, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Additional skills may include weaning from mechanical ventilation, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and managing pediatric respiratory conditions. The organization requires compliance with background checks and policies prior to offer. Travelers must adhere to the consecutive contract policy and breaks as required. This position necessitates working with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. Candidates who meet the specified experience and certification requirements are encouraged to apply.
