Must have at least a high school education with a diploma.2. Must have at least 5-7 years of "on the job" experience. 3. Must be able to read write English fluently.4. Must have the ability to understand industrial mechanical equipment.5. Must be able to read blueprints and equipment manuals.6. Must be proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Dial Indicators etc.7. Must be proficient in the use of Metalworking Engine Lathes, Vertical Milling Machines, Drill Presses, Vertical and Horizontal Saws, Hydraulic Presses, Broaches, Grinders8. Must be able to properly and safely select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines.9. Must be able to accurately estimate time and materials needed to complete a job.10. Must have knowledge of the properties of various metals, alloys and their machinability.11. Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.12. Experience with welding to build up worn surfaces is a plus13. Must have good organizational skills, and keep a neat and orderly work area.14. Must exhibit good personable skills and be able to communicate effectively.15. Must be physically fit and pass the company physical.16. Must be willing to perform occasional after hours service.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Use sound mechanical procedures in repairing equipment.2. Observe Company policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Information Guide.3. Follow all Company safety policies and wear appropriate safety gear.4. Follow the direction of your immediate supervisor and his subordinates.5. Must treat all company tools and tooling as your own and report any defects to your supervisor.6. Must be able act in a courteous and professional manner at all times while conducting Company Business. 7. Must be able to accurately estimate time and materials needed to complete a job.8. Must be responsible for the accurate and complete documentation of Company forms and records.9. Must be able to take responsibility for completing a job to the satisfaction of the customer and Flolo Management 10. The work must meet, or exceed all customer, company, and applicable quality standards. This role works with minimal supervision to set up and operate manually controlled metalworking machines used to fabricate, repair, and modify equipment, parts, and tooling. This is a hands-on position ideal for an experienced machinist who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and quality workmanship.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual metalworking equipment to repair, fabricate, and modify parts and toolingRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, and equipment manualsSelect, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials safely and accuratelyPerform precision measurements using micrometers, dial indicators, and related instrumentsAccurately estimate the time and materials required for jobsComplete required documentation and company records thoroughly and accuratelyPerform daily cleaning and light maintenance of machinery and equipmentFollow all company safety policies and procedures and wear the required PPEMaintain a clean, organized, and orderly work areaCommunicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customersProvide occasional after-hours service support as neededEnsure completed work meets or exceeds customer, company, and quality standards QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required5-7 years of hands-on manual machining experienceAbility to read, write, and communicate fluently in EnglishStrong understanding of industrial mechanical equipmentProficient with manual engine lathes, vertical milling machines, drill presses, saws (vertical and horizontal), hydraulic presses, broaches, and grinders
