Disney Public Relations/Communications Intern, Spring 2027In Communications, we shape the Walt Disney Company's reputation. As a Communications intern, you will contribute to creative, strategic communication and content creation across owned and earned media, internal and external channels, executive communications, public relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, and more. We are looking for results-oriented communicators who are passionate about transforming the way we tell uniquely Disney stories through compelling written and visual communication.These internships are full-time, six-month commitments in Orlando, Florida, or Anaheim, California, from January 2027 through June 2027.Interns will be placed in one of the following teams based on their background, skills, and business needs. All placements sit within the Disney Experiences Communications & Public Affairs organization.Disneyland® Resort – Public Relations (Located in Anaheim, California)Disney Experiences – Communications Events (Located in Anaheim, California)Disney Experiences – Editorial Communications (Located in Orlando, Florida)Walt Disney World® Resort – Communications & Public Affairs (Located in Orlando, Florida)Disney Experiences – Corporate Social Responsibility Communications (Located in Orlando, Florida)Walt Disney World® Resort – Public Relations (Located in Orlando, Florida)Responsibilities vary by placement and may include, but are not limited to:Writing & Content CreationVisual & Creative ProductionPublic Relations & Public AffairsEvents & Project ManagementExcellent written and verbal communication skills across formats and audiences (print, web, social, video); AP Style proficiencyExperience creating basic visual communication (graphics, photos, videos) and an interest in developing creative skillsSocial media savviness across platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and XOrganized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining professional poiseStrong collaboration and teamwork skills; comfortable working with partners at all levelsAbility to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentProficiency in Microsoft 365: Teams, PowerPoint, Word, ExcelCompetency in basic computer functions in a Mac/MS Office environmentCurrently enrolled junior or senior at an accredited college or universityPursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related fieldThe Spring 2027 Communications internship program runs from January 2027 through June 2027.Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements belowBe enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney InternshipHave not completed one year of continuous employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College ProgramBe at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationFully available for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week, and be flexible, as schedules could occasionally include nights or weekendsAble to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida, or Anaheim or Glendale, California areaAble to provide/have reliable transportation to/from workBe aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.The pay rate for this internship in Orlando, Florida, is $ 23.00 per hour.
