Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:30 - 07:30 Shift

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry to join our team. This role is crucial in providing compassionate and quality healthcare to a diverse patient population across all ages. The Registered Nurse will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
• Monitoring and interpreting telemetry data to ensure patient safety.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Educating patients and families about health conditions and wellness strategies.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry / Medical-Surgical Nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH.
• MEDITECH experience is mandatory.
