Job Description Manage a diverse caseload of general liability, insurance defense, tort, and employment litigation matters. Represent clients through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Develop litigation strategy and provide practical legal counsel to clients. Conduct legal research and draft high-quality motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Attend court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions. Collaborate with attorneys and staff to efficiently manage cases and deliver exceptional client service. Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for continued growth. Qualifications 3+ years of Illinois insurance defense litigation experience. Strong experience handling general liability matters. Excellent written, verbal, and courtroom communication skills. Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Tort and employment litigation experience preferred. Portable book of business is welcomed but not required.
