In this dynamic role, you will support patients, staff, and visitors while embodying our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and support screening processes in accordance with site protocols and post orders.
- Maintain armed post readiness in alignment with Allied Universal standards and applicable laws, using sound judgment during routine duties and/or elevated situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
