Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

SCHEDULE
Nights 7p-7a

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- Current RN license in Maine or compact
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Immunizations required:
- Varicella (2 doses or titer)
- Hepatitis B (3 doses or titer or declination)
- MMR (2 doses or titer)
- Tdap
- PPD (2 step or titer within last 12 months)
- Declination accepted only for HepB
- Flu shot required during flu season

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments and reassessments.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing plans of care based on patient needs.
- Communicate patient care activities and updates to healthcare team members.
- Document patient care activities according to established standards and policies.
- Administer medications accurately and evaluate patient responses.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with care coordinators.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Traveler will report to Human Resources on day 1 for the onboarding process.
- Agency W-9 and Certificate of Insurance for Workers' Compensation and Liability required ($1M/$3M).
- Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.
