About RealCold At RealCold youre more than an employeeyoure part of a team thats building the future of cold chain logistics We invest in our people by providing opportunities to learn grow and advance while fostering a culture built on integrity accountability safety and continuous improvement When you join RealCold youll find Competitive pay and comprehensive benefitsCareer growth and leadership development opportunitiesA safety first culture where every employee mattersA collaborative team that values your ideas and contributionsMeaningful work with a fast growing industry leaderBuild your career with a company thats growingand helping its people grow along with it If youre ready to grow your career with a company thats growing too wed love to meet you The Role RealCold is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Operations Sanitation Team Member to support the cleanliness appearance and overall upkeep of our Polk City Florida facility This position maintains offices conference rooms employee breakrooms restrooms locker rooms truck driver areas lobbies entrances and other assigned common spaces in a clean safe and professional condition The successful candidate will take pride in their work demonstrate reliable attendance work effectively with limited supervision and help ensure that the facility is ready for employees visitors customers and audits This role does not routinely clean the cold storage areas or dock space Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities Facility Cleaning and Upkeep Clean and maintain offices conference rooms lobbies employee entrances truck driver areas and other assigned common spaces Clean disinfect and restock restrooms throughout the facility Clean and maintain employee locker rooms Clean and sanitize employee breakrooms including tables chairs countertops sinks refrigerators microwaves vending areas and other common use surfaces and appliances Sweep vacuum mop dust wipe and spot clean floors furniture fixtures doors walls baseboards and other surfaces in assigned areas Clean interior glass windows mirrors doors and high touch surfaces Empty trash and recycling containers replace liners and transport waste to designated collection areas Complete periodic deep cleaning and special cleaning projects as assigned Respond promptly to spills and other routine cleaning needs in assigned areas Supplies and Facility Support Monitor cleaning supplies and restroom or breakroom consumables and notify management when replenishment is needed Restock paper products soap hand sanitizer trash liners and other approved supplies Keep janitorial closets storage areas carts and supplies clean secure and organized Use vacuums mops brooms dusters cleaning carts and other basic cleaning tools safely and properly Identify and report maintenance concerns safety hazards damaged fixtures leaks supply shortages or unusual conditions to the General Manager or designee Safety Compliance and Audit Readiness Follow all company safety security sanitation and housekeeping policies and procedures Properly label handle use and store cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with product instructions and company requirements Use required personal protective equipment and follow posted safety instructions Maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition suitable for customer visits facility tours inspections and audits Provide additional cleaning support before or during customer visits executive visits and audits as directed Perform duties in a manner that avoids disruption to facility employees drivers visitors and operations Complete cleaning checklists or other basic documentation as assigned Other Responsibilities Work cooperatively with facility leadership and other associates Provide coverage for assigned areas and adjust priorities based on facility needs Perform other related duties as assigned Duties and responsibilities may be updated based on business needs Requirements of the Position Minimum one 1 year of janitorial custodial housekeeping sanitation or commercial cleaning experience is preferred; prior experience is not requiredExperience cleaning offices or common areas within a warehouse manufacturing distribution logistics or other commercial environment is preferredBasic familiarity with common cleaning products safe chemical handling and standard janitorial tools is preferredMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to read write understand and communicate basic work instructions in EnglishKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesThe ability to work in a team environment geared towards the common goals of shipping productcustomer orders on time and in a safe mannerInteract in a professional friendly and respectful mannerExcellent attention to detailPositive attitude and strong desire to succeedGreat work ethicAbility to listen and take direction agreeablyBe on time to work and reliableAbility to follow verbal and written instructions including cleaning product labels and safety informationAbility to work independently with limited supervision and complete assigned tasks within the scheduled shiftDependable attendance punctuality attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean and safe work areas Work Requirements Must be able to pass a background check Must be flexible and be able to work overtime Must be willing to work weekends and evenings Ability to work well under pressure Dress code is relaxed with a few rules to follow for safety;
