RRT

Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or (RRT) Certified/Registered: (As Needed/PRN)

Provides professional cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with the physician orders.

Shift: PRN (as needed)

Pay: Based on experience

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

EXPERIENCE: 6-months experience preferred. Experience in EKG, and PFT preferred.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Currently Licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of Alabama -BLS certification within 90 days of hire required. ACLS certification within 12 months of hire is desired

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, AND WORK AIDS: Office machines (i.e., copier, fax, telephone). Computer terminal/personal computer. Hand tools. Power tools. Diagnostic equipment. Patient therapeutic equipment/machines (suction, percussors, etc.). Ventilatory support devices

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Must demonstrate the ability to understand the unique needs of different age groups of patients treated.
