Woodland Golf Course, located in Cincinnati, OH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) General Purpose: Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required. Essential Duties:

• Perform general landscape maintenance using hand-held equipment
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers
• Operate small machinery to assist with edging, trimming, and mowing
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material
• Perform tasks related to course detailing including weed and debris cleanup
• Assist with golf course setup procedures
• Operate utility vehicles for hauling materials and removing debris
• Perform skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.)
• Operate equipment safely and remain aware of associates and their respective work areas
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as required

Physical Demands:

• Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands; reaches with hands and arms
• Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches
• Regularly talks or hears
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds; up to 50 pounds with assistance

Environment/Noise:

• Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally works in high, precarious places and in areas with fumes or airborne particles
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
• Occasionally works in extreme heat (non-weather) and experiences vibration
• Noise level is loud

Education/Experience: Less than a high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver's license.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferences: Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for equipment may be in English).
