Technician II

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Raleigh, NC, 27601 Details of the position are as follows:


Job Description:

• Pay: $20.00-$22.09/hr to start!
• 9- month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
• 2 shifts available
  • Tuesday-Saturday, 12:30pm-9pm
  • Monday- Friday, 2:30pm-11pm
• Position will mainly be responsible for synthesizing, modifying, deprotecting, quantifying, and preparing oligonucleotides for quality control testing.
• Responsibilities also include operating laboratory equipment, using production software, evaluating QC results, maintaining documentation, and handling oligos and reagents.
• Position will also be responsible for following SOPs, safety and contamination controls, supporting quality standards, and performing additional assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED, or associate's degree is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.
• Experience with following SOP's and equipment calibration/maintenance is required.
• Biowork certification is preferred.
