Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Fort Worth, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The ICU Cardiovascular (Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular) Nurse position is based in a high-volume cardiac intensive care environment. The role involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients recovering from cardiac surgeries or with complex cardiovascular conditions. The facility, located in an urban medical center, offers a dynamic setting for experienced ICU nurses to apply their skills in a collaborative team environment. Job Details Location: 900 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104 on the 3rd floor (3 West) of the A Tower (main building). Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift starts on 09/07/2026. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of critical care experience (including adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU), ventilator management skills, arterial line, central line, and chest tube management skills. Preferred Qualifications: CVICU-specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella management, Meditech electronic medical record experience, BSN degree, and CCRN certification. Patient Ratios: 2 patients to 1 RN during night shift. Equipment and Procedures: Hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz catheter, arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilators, CRRT, Impella, and other critical care technologies. Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs. Float Area(s): Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, Cardiac Progressive Care Unit. Additional Information: The role entails working two biweekly weekend shifts with no on-call requirements. The position is for one nurse only.
