Digital Signal Processing Electrical & Computer Engineer Opportunity to apply electrical and computer engineering skills to develop next‑generation electromagnetic spectrum and electronic warfare capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design and implement digital signal processing for RF sensing, detection, and response systems. Develop signal receive and blind demodulation techniques, signal isolation and identification, waveform and complex signal generation, and adaptive techniques. Implement radio communication capabilities and emerging ideas for electromagnetic spectrum battle management. Work in a lab environment to develop functionality for demonstration and delivery to DoD clients. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to guide the Army toward new technical solutions. Document work and maintain code quality using best practices. Required Qualifications Experience with wireless communications systems and signal processing theory/application. Proficiency in Linux and programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust. Experience with Software‑Defined Radio (SDR) toolkits and standards, e.g., GNU Radio and Ettus UHD. Knowledge of signal processing techniques and RF theory. Embedded software development experience, including code optimization and multi‑threading. Strong understanding of DSP and DSP algorithm development. Ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time. Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Preferred Skills Experience with machine learning techniques, implementation, and signal classification. Experience with ARM microprocessors. Experience with RF equipment, testbeds, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. Experience with tools such as MATLAB or LabView for signal, waveform, and technique development. Experience with Git and the Agile software development process. Experience with FPGAs and VHDL or Verilog. Travel & Security Travel up to 25% regionally. Candidates must be eligible for a Secret clearance. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00. Health, life, disability, and retirement benefits.
