Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Freestanding ED)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Mid Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a range of emergency conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical findings in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour mid shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or freestanding ED environment
• Experience with high-acuity patient populations and rapid patient throughput settings
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation systems
