As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Qualified in Seattle, WA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, perimeter locations, and adjacent property to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with appropriate transit personnel and public emergency responders.
• Monitor access points, pedestrian areas, and transit-related facilities; assist with directing visitors and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess two or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
